Many of the transactions that take place on the Spoiler Alert platform are in the form of charitable donations. It is of utmost importance that we ensure charitable donations are only going to qualified nonprofit organizations that are equipped to get donated food to underserved communities, including the ill, needy or infants.
We use a federal tax identification number, called an Employer Identification Number (EIN), to verify your nonprofit status, as well as for use on donation receipts provided through the Spoiler Alert.. You can find your company's EIN in one of the following ways:
- Look at your tax documents (e.g. W-2s or 1099s)
- Contact your company's Human Resources or Accounting representative
- Contact your local Internal Revenue Service (IRS) office
