The Spoiler Alert platform aligns its reporting capabilities with the Food Loss and Waste Accounting and Reporting Standard (FLW Standard), an internationally-recognized standard developed by the World Resources Institute (WRI) in 2016, that outlines requirements and guidance for measuring and reporting on the weight of food and/or associated inedible parts that are removed from the supply chain, otherwise known as ‘food loss and waste’ (FLW).
When managing unsold inventory in the Spoiler Alert platform, you may track inventory that ends up in a number of ‘destinations’, or in other words, broad categories where material removed from the supply chain is destined.
